In Christ AloneBiblical Hope’s mission is defined and shaped by the ministry of Jesus. He came to set the captives free (Luke 4:18). He did this by loving people with tender compassion, healing words and deeds, and by announcing a message of hope: “A bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out, till he has brought justice through to victory. In his name the nations will put their hope.” (Isaiah 42:3; Matthew 12:20-21).
